Luc Vaillancourt has co-founded KOREM Inc. in 1993 and left the company in 2005 to take up new professional challenges. KOREM’s offer includes Web-based software and ASP services development and commercialisation, consulting services as well as third-party technologies and data reselling. During his experience with KOREM, Mr. Vaillancourt took part in every aspect of the company’s management including human resources, marketing, sales, production, conception and development. This global vision of the enterprise had led him to principally focus on the orientation of KOREM’s technological offer and on local and international business development with major clients and partners.

Luc Vaillancourt obtained a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Université Laval (Québec, QC, Canada) in 1993 and specialized himself in geographic information processing and representation. He also achieved successfully all the credits (courses and research) to obtain a Master’s degree in Spatial Analysis and Geostatistics. But enthusiastic and busy with his newly founded company, he never submitted his master’s thesis !

And last but not least, Luc Vaillancourt lives with his spouse and two young daughters (tree and six years old). During his free time, he is a dirt-bike (enduro/cross-country) fan and rides a KTM XC-F 450 2008 bike.
