She participates in the firm’s mandate and is responsible for developing research and analysis methods in regards to the clients’ context of operation and needs. She takes part in the development of strategies and participates in the preparation of reports and recommendations.
Before joining BALIZ’s team, she was the Communications Officer (from 2001 to 2007) for GEOIDE, a Canadian Network of Centres of Excellence in geomatics. During her experience with GEOIDE, Nathalie had to plan and coordinate the communications and networking activities within the network (researchers and government/industry affiliates and partners) as well as manage the communications projects with the community.
As a Computer Analyst, Nathalie Michaud also contributed to the geomatisation of land use and development plans, when she was with the ministère des Affaires municipales et des Régions (Québec Department of Municipal Affairs and Regions) from 1999 to 2001. During her mandate she took part in the development of standards and processes.
She obtained a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Geomatics Sciences from Université Laval, with a specialization in remote sensing.
