PÔLE Québec Chaudière-Appalaches (PÖLE), an economic development agency, is organizing the 13th edition of Futurallia. The event will take place at the Québec City Convention Centre from May 20 to May 22, 2008. Futurallia is the most important economic event organized in the context of Québec City’s 400th Anniversary Celebrations.
PÔLE is organizing Futurallia for the second time in Québec City. The first edition, Futurallia Québec 2003, attracted more than 1200 participants from 25 countries totalizing 9000 pre-arranged business meetings. The event proved particularly fruitful for participants and won the title of “Event of the Year” in Québec City.
It is necessary to mention that Futurallia Québec 2008 is made possible through the support of POLE’s major partners : Government of Canada (CED), the government of France, The government of the Province of Québec (MDEIE) and la Société du 400e anniversaire de Québec.

BALIZ and Futurallia Québec 2008
BALIZ is involved in and is a partner for Futurallia Québec 2008- 13th annual International Small Business Forum, the economic event marking Québec City’s 400th anniversary celebrations. This event will be held from May 20th to May 22nd, right after ICI 2008.
As a Head of Delegation for the geomatics niche, BALIZ will assist the forum’s organizers to identify, recruit and facilitate the participation of geospatial industry SMEs (geomatics, GIS, mapping, GPS) coming from around the World, but mainly from French speaking countries and regions.
